PPD holds an annual golf tournament and silent auction every September as our largest event. We welcome attendees, golfers, sponsors, auction donations, and new ideas for how to keep this day exciting, moving, and effective. Come support us, meet fellow supporters, and hear more about our cause!

From the very beginning, one of PPD's main efforts to raise money and awareness has been an ongoing card sale project. We sell both sets of printed art cards and unique handmade craft cards at farmer's markets and other local venues.

One of the biggest hindrances to finding a cure is overall societal focus. Brain cancer is the leading cause of death by cancer in children, and yet it is not one of the most researched. That's why PPD issues press releases, attends speaking engagements, and otherwise reaches out to the community extensively.

PPD's success relies on the efforts of our enthusiastic young members. Since we started, we've focused on PPD as an effective fundraising body but also an organization to show young people that they can, and do, make a difference. To this end, we honor the contributions of even our youngest members and push for youth engagement.

PPD is lucky to be part of a community of organizations that are mutually supportive in the Seattle area. We attend the events and promote the successes of one another, and are generally involved in a network of cancer research organizations.

Although PPD has gone through some changes lately, we aren't going anywhere anytime soon. Under our new leadership team, we're pushing forward with exciting new initiatives, supporting groundbreaking research, and branching out to whole new areas for supporters as our members go off to college around the country.
